1. Tour Booking & Advance Deposit
To confirm a tour or Yatra package booking with Shiv Bhumi Travel Agency, an advance deposit of 30% to 50% of the total package cost is required. The remaining balance must be cleared upon arrival at Bharmour / Pathankot prior to commencement of the journey.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy
- 30 days or more before travel: 90% refund of total advance paid.
- 15 to 29 days before travel: 50% refund of advance paid.
- Less than 14 days before travel: Advance deposit is non-refundable due to pre-booked mountain homestays, tents, and transport permits.
3. Unexpected Delays & Natural Acts
In the event of unannounced road blockades, severe weather, landslides, or government curfews, any extra costs incurred for additional hotel stays, food, or alternate vehicle hire will be borne by the traveler directly.
4. Traveler Code of Conduct
Pilgrims and trekkers are expected to respect local Himachali traditions, temple sanctity, and eco-sensitive mountain environments. Littering on sacred Yatra trails (such as Dhancho, Sundarsi, and Mani Mahesh Lake) is strictly prohibited.
5. Governing Law
All agreements, bookings, and legal matters are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in District Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, India.
