Departing from Manali, traverse the revolutionary Atal Tunnel to Gramphu and navigate the rugged mountain tracks along the Chandra River to reach Chandratal Lake (4,300m). Camping under starry night skies near Chandratal offers an unmatched astrophotography experience.
Crossing Kunzum Pass, visit the hilltop temple of Kunzum Devi before descending into Kaza, the administrative heart of Spiti Valley. Day-by-Day Itinerary
Check in to Manali hotel. Rest and prepare gear for high altitude Spiti trip.
Drive via Atal Tunnel to Gramphu & Batal. Off-road climb to Chandratal campsite. Sunset view of Moon Lake.
Morning lake walk. Cross Kunzum Pass with circumambulation at Kunzum Devi temple. Drive to Kaza.
Visit Hikkim (highest post office), Komic (highest village with road), and Langza fossil village.
Morning prayers at Key Monastery. Drive back over Kunzum Pass / Atal Tunnel to Manali.
Check out and depart for onward destination.
