Tour Overview
Discover the fairytale charm and alpine splendor of the Seraj region with our Jalori Pass & Tirthan Valley Tour. Spanning 5 days through lush pine forests, wooden cottage hamlets, cascading waterfalls, and high mountain passes, this itinerary combines offbeat relaxation in Jibhi and Gushaini with scenic high-altitude trekking across Jalori Pass (3,120m).
Your holiday begins in Jibhi, a picturesque village renowned for its traditional Kath-Kuni wooden cabins built beside rushing mountain streams. Explore the Jibhi Waterfall and hike up to Chehni Kothi, an extraordinary 1,500-year-old multi-story wooden tower fort standing 102 feet high.
The journey ascends to Jalori Pass at 3,120 meters, one of the lowest motorable mountain passes connecting Kullu and Shimla districts. From Jalori Pass, embark on a 5 km forest trek through thick oak and deodar woods to reach the sacred, crystal-clear waters of Serolsar Lake, dedicated to Goddess Budhi Nagin.
The tour concludes in Tirthan Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage Great Himalayan National Park gateway famous for brown and rainbow trout angling in the oxygen-rich Tirthan River. With comfortable wooden homestays, private vehicle transfers, and guided nature walks, this tour offers a peaceful escape into untouched nature.
